will definitely go again next time
The room was comfy with a flat-screen TV, cable channels, and a private bathroom stocked with free toiletries. There’s a fan for heating. A hairdryer and linen. The lobby has a cozy vibe, and I liked the complimentary coffee and tea. Breakfast is a basic buffet but had fresh pastries. Really appreciated the luggage storage after check-out.

During my business trip, I found Bijou to be conveniently located near Union Square, making it easy to access various business venues. The staff were exceptionally friendly and provided prompt assistance with my requests, such as setting up my presentation equipment and offering hot drinks in the lobby. The complimentary buffet breakfast was enjoyable and reasonably priced, contributing to a pleasant stay overall.
While the staff were great, the surrounding area has its challenges, including visible homelessness.

I stayed at the Bijou for three nights and had a mix of experiences. The location is excellent, just a short walk to public transport and surrounded by great cafes and restaurants. I loved the quirky decor, which added a charming touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to assist with travel plans and even stored my luggage while I explored the city. The bed felt comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure too. However, the area had a noticeable presence of homelessness, which made it a bit unsettling at times. Additionally, the breakfast options were quite limited, just muffins and apples every day. Some street noise filtered into my room at night, making it hard to get quality sleep. It could definitely use more soundproofing or better window insulation. Overall, the hotel had a cozy vibe, but improvements in breakfast variety and noise control would make it even better.
